The system can be found HERE.

It's a borderline board game in its simplicity, condensing its equivalent of a PHB onto a single sheet of paper. It does lack any kind of guidelines for what kind of stats monsters should have, so it's going to take some time to fiddle with it to find a good range. It has a money system, but the only thing with a price at all are the magic crystals. The XP system also sets itself up for very short story arcs, because you end up maxing your schtick fairly quickly. The magic system sets itself up where as long as you have a caster with the Heal spell, where shy of death, the party is fully healed after each fight; whether that's good or bad is your call. Obviously, for such a bare-bones system, you're going to have Tea Party your way through anything that isn't face-stabbing; which makes the rogue's back-stabbing ability frustrating with the lack of codified stealth rules.

It's not a well-balanced system, but I am intrigued by the simplicity of it.

Advancement needs to be completely changed, and the spells don't actually explain what they do, but I think its a good sign that even one page can capture 70% of what you want in your system.

Why don't you just play DragonStrike instead?
Josh Kablack wrote:Your freedom to make rulings up on the fly is in direct conflict with my freedom to interact with an internally consistent narrative. Your freedom to run/play a game without needing to understand a complex rule system is in direct conflict with my freedom to play a character whose abilities and flaws function as I intended within that ruleset. Your freedom to add and change rules in the middle of the game is in direct conflict with my ability to understand that rules system before I decided whether or not to join your game.

In short, your entire post is dismissive of not merely my intelligence, but my agency. And I don't mean agency as a player within one of your games, I mean my agency as a person. You do not want me to be informed when I make the fundamental decisions of deciding whether to join your game or buying your rules system.

Dragonstrike uses a board and miniatures (which is a downside to some) and has less to do out of combat.
